About Rinshan Kaihou Cologne

Who We Are

We are a young mahjong club located in the south of Cologne.

Our goal is to find new mahjong players and make mahjong more popular in the region of Cologne. We also try to find new players by presenting the game at game conventions or private sessions.

In the near future, we would like to host EMA certified tournaments in Cologne. We like to gather as many players as possible from all around Europe to present them with thrilling challenges.

Where and When Do We Play?

We currently play at Manuel and Fränk’s place in Cologne.

Take the tram/tube number 12 to “Herthastraße”. Sounds weird, but that’s how it is.

Note: In Cologne, Tram and Tube are the same system. You sometimes even need to leave the tube to go on a tram, which becomes a tube again. From there, it’s only a ten-minute walk.

At our hosts’ place we have a mahjong table, several sets and other things to have fun day. Alternatively, when the weather is nice, we can also play in the park near there. We’ve also played in a nearby pub.

We sometimes play more frequent, sometimes less frequent. Usually, on weekdays, we play 18/19 o’clock till 21/22 o’clock. On weekends, the whole afternoon. Sometimes, we play the complete night till dawn! 🙂
